As a former founding president of the International Coach Federation (ICF) in France, I follow their definition of coaching :
“Partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.” -
Each situation is unique.
I was in International Human Ressources for more than 15 years.
I worked in diverse situations that helped me to be better at serving others.
Coaching is a very helpful tool in terms of people’s development solutions, both in corporations or individually. -
Not exactly!
Individual or Corporate coaching is about which strategies will help you reach your goals.
Any topic can be approached in different ways : For example, if you want to learn how to fish, you can:Get a trainer/instructor: “I will teach you how to fish”
Get a consultant : “I know how I can fix your problem with this particular fish, try this rod.”
Get a mentor’s perspective : “I have lots of experience in fishing, I’m happy to share it with you.”
Do you see how all these perspectives can be truly useful, how they can be similar but not the same?
Another way can be to hire a coach. You have already tried fishing and you want to become a professional fisherman. The coaching perspective leads to questions like “what do you think is the best way for you to become a professional fisherman?”
My coaching perspective will result in my asking you detailed questions on how you can maximize your potential to find the right solutions and to achieve your goals. You could say that I am working in the field of mental preparation, looking at what works well and not so well and figuring out how to lead to that “ah-ah” moment… -
I have specialized in intercultural corporate and executive coaching, which can include:
Personnel who manage international employees,
Personnel managing an international project, involving different nationalities,
Those immigrating to Canada,
Expats sent by their company to another country. -
There is no “one size fits all” when it comes to communication. Whether you are in an employee or managing position, working with others from another country / culture / ethnicity, this reflective coaching process can help you find better ways to communicate or to lead. Reflection on how you interact with others leads to better actions.

Corporate and executive coaching is usally a process requiring 15 to 30 hours, spread out from 3 months to a year. It is a development process happening within the corporation. In large corporations, HR or management is involved in the contracting process. If you are an entrepreneur, it’s just the client and the coach.

Yes. I offer a 30-minute free consultation. This initial consultation helps clarify your needs, gives you more information about the type of work I do, and, of course, allows us to get to know each other better.
After that initial consultation, we can decide if we're a good match.

Anything happening in a coaching session stays in that session. In a large corporation, a framework can be created at the beginning with other people involved, but the content remains of course stricly confidential.
